Transfer market closed: we already think of the “Lanterna derby”
The football transfer market is officially over. And Sampdoria is now complete. After the end of the summer transfer session, Delio Rossi can count on a well-defined and homogeneous group, and he can keep going on with the project he started this year.
Arrivals. In the last market day three new players joined the mister:
the Icelander midfielder Birkir Bjarnason, coming from Pescara, the young
striker Andrea Petagna, coming from A.C. Milan, and the left winger Antonino Barillà, coming
from Reggina. They are three precious elements, and they can be
considered as three valuable alternatives to the so called regular
players.
Derby. In the meanwhile, the blucerchiati restarted
training at the "Mugnaini", in Bogliasco, without the players called up
by their National Teams, that are now playing all around Europe. After a
weekend of break, the Lanterna derby is just around the corner, and
Rossi and his staff are preparing it to the finest details, because it’s
a match we can’t fail.
