Edoardo Garrone is the 16th president of the U.C. Sampdoria

Stability
and sustainability. Seriousness and sympathy. Solidarity and social
work. And – hopefully – a new stadium. A new era of the U.C.
Sampdoria history has just begun. During the Board of Directors,
Edoardo Garrone has been named as president of the club: he is the
16th
president in more than 66 years of history. He succeeds to his father
Riccardo, who passed away on the last January, the 21st
and he wants to continue with his project, characterized by clarity
and determination.

Inheritance. During the press conference, the new number one of the blucerchiati
explained: «My father left, above all, a moral inheritance and I
want to go on with this ethical view, both in business affairs and in
football».
Also, Edoardo was enthusiastic of the election of his cousin Monica Mondini as vice-president and of the comeback of the counselor
Paolo Lanzoni.

Rossi.
Garrone did not talk only about a long-term organization,
stabilization and internationalization of the club: he also declared
the will of going on with mister Delio Rossi. After the victory over
Chievo, our trainer is preparing the home match against Parma: Enzo Maresca
is finally at disposal and Mauro Icardi’s conditions are getting better.
