Blucerchiati straight back to training

Sampdoria got right back out on the pitch on Monday morning, as Marco Giampaolo and his staff led the team in a training session in Bogliasco. The players were split into two, with those who featured heavily against Salernitana in one group and everyone else in the other.

Nicola Murru underwent treatment after an ankle sprain left him out of the trip to Salerno. Andrea Conti and Simone Trimboli continued to follow their respective recovery programmes, while Manuel De Luca was resting after undergoing surgery.

On Tuesday, there will be another session at the Mugnaini ahead of the match against Lazio at the Ferraris on Wednesday evening at 18:30 CEST.
