Ihattaren: “I’ll do everything for this jersey”

Mohamed Ihattaren is desperate to hit the ground running at Sampdoria after sealing a deadline day loan move to the Ligurian club from Juventus.

“I hope it doesn’t take long for me to show the fans what I’m capable of,” he said. “I want to win a lot of matches, play good football and show everyone what I’m all about.”

Despite being just 19 years of age, Ihattaren already has 74 professional appearances and ten goals to his name from his time with PSV.

“I’m delighted to be here,” continued the Dutchman. “I know Samp and I know it’s a seaside city – it’s a beautiful spot for a great club. I’m a technical player with a good shot and good pace with the ball at feet. I have vision and see things quickly. My aim is to do everything for the fans and for this jersey.”
