Samp start over in groups. Morning session on Wednesday

The Blucerchiati reconvened at the training ground on Tuesday to quickly put the AC Milan match behind them and immediately switch focus to next Sunday’s visit to Sassuolo at Mapei Stadium.

Roberto D’Aversa split the squad up into two groups, with recovery work for those who played most of the game against the Rossoneri and an in-house friendly against the U19s for the rest of the squad.

Meanwhile Manuel De Luca, Ernesto Torregrossa and Ronaldo Vieira continued with their individual programmes.

The next training session is scheduled for Wednesday morning.

Manolo Gabbiadini underwent initial diagnostic tests which confirmed that he sprained his ankle during last night’s match. The striker will have further tests over the coming days.
