Yoshida back as Sampdoria resume training
Sampdoria returned to work on Wednesday to prepare for their opening match of Serie A TIM 2021/22 against AC Milan.
For the first time this season Maya Yoshida, fresh from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, was back at Bogliasco. Antonio Candreva meanwhile sat this one out.
The programme drawn up by Roberto D’Aversa and his staff included a warm-up and a series of technical exercises to start. Then the group was divided in two: one half was made up of the players most involved in the Coppa Italia, who worked on their fitness, while the other half continued with some small matches.
On Thursday, the team will return to the pitch in the morning.
