Jankto with another assist, Thorsby on as a late sub

Norway. There was a disappointing result for Norway as they were beaten 3-0 by Turkey at home (Tufan 4 and 59, Soyuncu 28) in their second match in Group G of 2022 World Cup qualifying. Morten Thorsby started the match on the bench but was brought on as a substitute in the 84th minute.

Czech Republic. Jakub Jankto chipped in with an assist as Czech Republic held Belgium to a 1-1 draw (Provod 50, Lukaku 61) in their 2022 World Cup qualifier in Prague. Jankto started the game and remained on the pitch until the 61st minute.

Slovenia U21. Nik Prelec endured the misfortune of scoring an own-goal as Slovenia drew 1-1 with Czech Republic at the European Under-21 Championship. Slovenia were leading until the 85th minute, when Prelec’s own-goal levelled the match – the Samp man was then brought off in second-half stoppage time. The result leaves Slovenia top of Group B but with progression now looking less likely.
