Internationals: Balde plays in Senegal draw with Congo

Keita Balde‘s Senegal sealed top spot in Africa Cup of Nations qualification Group I with a 0-0 draw away to Congo. The Lions had already booked their place at the tournament finals, to be held next January.

The Sampdoria forward played 65 minutes before being substituted.

Senegal’s last group match is at home to Eswatini on Tuesday. Kick-off at the Stade Lat Dior in Thies is set for 18:00.
