Group work as training resumes ahead of derby encounter

Atalanta is already in the past with the Genoa derby next up on the agenda.

Claudio Ranieri split the squad into two groups, based on their recent playing time, for Monday’s morning session. Those with most minutes under their belts focused on recovery in the gym while the others warmed up then did reactivity work and possession drills before a high-tempo training match to finish.

Omar Colley trained with the rest of the team while Ernesto Torregrossa worked separately in the gym and in the pool.

The Blucerchiati will be back on Tuesday morning to ramp up preparations for Wednesday’s derby clash.
