Training resumes in two groups, first session for new boy Torregrossa

Sampdoria were back at the training ground in Bogliasco on Tuesday following the defeat to Spezia on Monday night.

While those involved for all or most of the Spezia match had a recovery session, the rest of the squad warmed up before focusing on reactions and getting stuck into a minimatch. This group included Ernesto Torregrossa, fresh from sealing his switch from Brescia, and the returning Nik Prelec.

Lorenzo Tonelli trained separately, while Alex Ferrari continued his rehabilitation outside. Manolo Gabbiadini worked out in the gym.

Doria will train again on Wednesday morning.
