Ranieri names squad for Roma trip

After the team’s training session on Saturday morning, Claudio Ranieri confirmed the players available for Sampdoria’s first match of the year, away to Roma at 15:00 CET on Sunday.

The only Blucerchiati not available are Alex Ferrari (who did recovery work in the gym), Manolo Gabbiadini (physiotherapy) and Nik Prelec (individual work on the pitch).

Keita Balde misses the match through suspension but will still travel to the capital with the team.

Goalkeepers: Audero, Letica, Ravaglia.

Defenders: Augello, Bereszynski, Colley, Regini, Rocha, Tonelli, Yoshida.

Midfielders: Askildsen, Candreva, Damsgaard, Ekdal, Jankto, Leris, Silva, Thorsby, Verre.

Forwards: La Gumina, Quagliarella, Ramirez.
