Group work in Bogliasco, morning session on Thursday

Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Wednesday morning ahead of their first league game of the 2020/21 Serie A season, against Benevento on Saturday evening.

The squad was split into two groups, both of which worked through strength exercises in the gym and speed drills and technique exercises outside.

Manolo Gabbiadini had his second day of training with the rest of the squad, while Fabio Depaoli had a planned individual session after the knock he picked up against Juventus.

Samp will train again on Thursday morning.
