Samp resume training in groups, departure for Lecce on Tuesday
Sampdoria were straight back to the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Monday morning following Sunday’s defeat by Bologna.
Claudio Ranieri split the squad into two groups, with those involved for all or most of the Bologna game receiving treatment and physiotherapy and working through a recovery session. The rest of the players warmed up before focusing on technique drills and practice games with an onus on pressing.
Alex Ferrari trained with the second group for the initial part of the session, while Fabio Quagliarella trained separately outside.
The Blucerchiati will meet at the training ground for lunch on Tuesday before leaving for Lecce, where they will train in the late afternoon.
