Group work as Bologna loom on the horizon

The team got straight back to work in Bogliasco on Thursday after returning from their trip to the capital, with attentions now turning to the forthcoming game against Sinisa Mihajlovic’s Bologna. The Blucerchiati will be back in action at the Stadio Ferraris on Sunday evening for the first time since Serie A was halted.

Claudio Ranieri split the squad into two groups for the afternoon session. Those who played most of the match in Rome did recovery work while the others ran through a standard training session.

Gonzalo Maroni and Fabio Quagliarella followed personalised programmes while Alex Ferrari continued with his rehabilitation.

The team’s next session is scheduled for Friday morning.
