In-house friendly in Bogliasco to end the week

The Blucerchiati once again rounded off the week with a friendly match at the training ground on Saturday

After a warm-up, Claudio Ranieri split the players into two teams for the practice game, which was played on pitch 2.

Fabio Quagliarella fired the plain tops ahead in the first half but the oranges turned the tables after the break: first Bartosz Bereszynski levelled the scores with a brilliant volley from outside the box, then Federico Bonazzoli headed in the winner on the stroke of full time.

Several players did not take part in the game. Julian Chabot did recovery work in the gym while Albin Ekdal, Lorenzo Tonelli and Ronaldo Vieira followed personalised programmes on the pitch and in the gym. Alex Ferrari continued with his rehabilitation.

The squad have been given two full days off now and will reconvene in Bogliasco on Tuesday afternoon.
