Possession drills and practice game in the rain as Ferrari returns to Bogliasco
Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad reported to a rainy Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Thursday morning to continue their preparations for the trip to Inter in just over two weeks’ time.
Out on Pitch 2, the Blucerchiati warmed up before working on possession drills, with the session drawing to a close after around 90 minutes with a practice game.
Alex Ferrari was back at the training ground 160 days after his right knee injury to begin his personalised rehab programme, which saw him working out in the gym on Thursday.
FIGC inspectors paid a visit to the training ground – as they have done with other Serie A clubs – and identified no issues with the way the club is applying the training protocol.
Samp have another morning session planned on Friday.
