22-man Samp squad for visit of Hellas Verona
The Sampdoria squad enjoyed a morning training session at the Ferraris on Saturday on the eve of the clash with Hellas Verona at 15:00 CET on Sunday that will be played behind closed doors as part of Matchday 26 of the 2019/20 Serie A TIM season. Possession-based drills and a tactical match with emphasis on set-pieces were on the agenda for the Blucerchiati.
After taking part in the first section of the session, Nicola Murru and Gaston Ramirez, both of whom are unavailable for selection due to suspension, underwent a tailored programme in the gym and also on the pitch alongside Edgar Barreto and Andrea Bertolacci, with the latter then forced to sit the action out alongside Kristoffer Askildsen and long-term absentee Alex Ferrari.
Claudio Ranieri has selected a 22-man squad for the game against Ivan Juric’s charges.
