Samp players not involved in Cagliari trip continue training in Bogliasco

Technical assistant Angelo Palombo and Paolo Bertelli led Omar Colley, Albin Ekdal, Fabio Quagliarella and Gaston Ramirez – the Doria players not involved for the Coppa Italia tie against Cagliari – through a split session in the gym and on the Bogliasco pitches on Thursday morning.

There were also individual sessions for four of the five Samp players currently sidelined with injury: Edgar Barreto (treatment, physiotherapy, gym), Andrea Bertolacci (treatment, physiotherapy, recovery plan), Federico Bonazzoli (treatment, physiotherapy, individual fitness work outside) and Fabio Depaoli (treatment, physiotherapy, gym). Bartosz Bereszynski is working through the first stage of his recovery from surgery at a specialist unit in Poznan, Poland.

The full squad will be back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini late on Friday morning to prepare for Sunday’s league game against Parma (18:00 CET).
