23-man squad named for Bologna trip
The Blucerchiati trained one last time in Bogliasco on Saturday morning before their departure for Bologna.
With sporting director Carlo Osti watching on, the team warmed up then did some technical work and tactical drills with Sunday’s opponents in mind.
Andrea Seculin was the only player not to take part as he had physiotherapy instead.
Afterwards, Karol Linetty, Gonzalo Maroni, Vasco Regini and Morten Thorsby – who are not in the squad for the game – did some additional metabolic work to boost their fitness ahead of a busy week ahead: after Bologna, Samp host Lecce on Wednesday then travel to SPAL next Monday.
