Afternoon session in the rain, morning training and press conference on Friday
Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria squad were back at a wet and windy Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Thursday afternoon to continue their preparations for Sunday’s trip to Bologna.
On Pitch 1, Ranieri and his coaching staff led the squad through an intense session lasting around an hour, kicking things off with a warm-up before moving onto technique drills, tactical exercises and a practice game to finished. Primavera goalkeeper Lorenzo Avogadri joined in with first-team training.
Fabio Depaoli has recovered from a bug but was kept inside for a gym session in light of the weather conditions. Karol Linetty trained with the squad for the first part of the session before focusing on his personal recovery plan, while Andrea Seculin had treatment and physiotherapy as part of a tailored session.
Samp will train again on Friday morning, with Ranieri set to hold his pre-match press conference at 13:00 CEST.
