Samp at the double on Wednesday with Bologna on the horizon

With all thoughts now on Sunday’s trip to Bologna, the squad reconvened in Bogliasco on Wednesday morning for the start of a busy day of training.

In the morning, after a session in the video room the players were split into groups and alternated between strength work in the gym and technical drills outside.

After lunch at the Academy Residence, Claudio Ranieri and the rest of the coaching staff put the Blucerchiati through a fast-paced workout on pitch 1 consisting of high-intensity training games.

Fabio Depaoli sat out again today as he recovers from a stomach bug. Karol Linetty and Andrea Seculin worked in the pool in the morning and continued with their personalised programmes in the afternoon.

The team’s next session is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
