Sampdoria make it easy for Inter in Marassi
Sampdoria were unable to halt the Inter juggernaut as they went down 3-1 to the Nerazzurri in Marassi on Saturday evening.
There’s a reason if Antonio Conte’s side have won all their games so far but Sampdoria made it easy for them but virtually gifting them the first half as well as two of the three goals.
The visitors were 2-0 up before the midway point of the first half as strikes by Stefano Sensi (via a deflection) and Alexis Sanchez put them in control.
Eusebio Di Francesco’s side fared better after the break with the Nerazzurri reduced to 10 men following Sanchez’s second yellow and managed to halve the arrears through Jakub Jankto – his first goal in Serie A for Doria – but Roberto Gagliardini quickly restored Inter’s two-goal cushion and Samp were unable to find a way back in.
