Double session on technique and tactics, more training on Thursday afternoon

Sampdoria were back at the training ground for a double session on Wednesday, minus international contingent Bartosz Bereszynski, Julian Chabot, Omar Colley, Albin Ekdal, Jakub Jankto and Karol Linetty.

The Blucerchiati focused on strength work in the gym in the morning, followed by a warm-up outside and a series of technique drills and tactics exercises.

In the afternoon, the squad concentrated on tactics and a series of practice games to finish, with academy products Emanuel Ercolano, Simone Giordano, Tommaso Maggioni, Marco Pompetti and Aris Sorensen joining in.

Jeison Murillo was absent with mild flu, while Gonzalo Maroni continued to focus on his recovery.

Samp will train again on Thursday afternoon.
