Double training session: Linetty rejoins the squad

There was a double training session at the Mugnaini in Bogliasco for Eusebio Di Francesco’s Sampdoria squad on Wednesday as preparations for the visit to Sassuolo on Sunday ramp up.

Karol Linetty was back with the team in the morning after spending time with his family following the birth of a baby daughter. The morning session consisted of strengthening work and both technical and tactical drills on pitch two. During the afternoon, the players had a video meeting and also did some stretching.

Manolo Gabbiadini went through a tailored programme both in the gym and out on the pitch, while Gonzalo Maroni continued with his own recovery to full fitness. On Thursday, the Blucerchiati will be put through their paces once again during an afternoon session.
