Squad of 24 named for Spezia v Samp

The team reconvened at the training ground on Wednesday morning to put the finishing touches on preparations for tonight’s friendly against Spezia (20:30 CEST kick-off).

Gianluca Caprari and Albin Ekdal did personalised fitness work on the pitch while Manolo Gabbiadini continued with his individual recovery programme.

At the end of the session, Eusebio Di Francesco confirmed a 24-man squad for the game, which includes Primavera youngsters Lorenzo Avogadri, Marco Pompetti and Felice D’Amico. The Blucerchiati will make their way to the Stadio Picco this afternoon.
