Afternoon training with the president ahead of Monaco trip

Massimo Ferrero was up in Bogliasco on Friday – together with his children Emma and Rocco – as Sampdoria put the finishing touches on their preparations for Saturday’s friendly against Monaco.

After saying hello to Eusebio Di Francesco, the coaching staff and players, the president and sporting director Carlo Osti watched on as the Blucerchiati did rondos, fitness work, training games and set-piece practice, having previously spent some time in the video room.

At the end of the training session, Di Francesco named a 23-man squad for the match at the Stade Louis II, which is due to kick off at 19:30 CEST.
