Augello: “Joining Samp is a dream come true”

This is a story made of dreams, the type that every football-loving child aspires to experience from a young age, although this particular dream only comes true with sweat and hard work as well. Tommaso Augello, who was born in Milan in 1994, has joined Sampdoria from Spezia, after an incredible rise through Italian football, starting in the depths of Serie D and going up step by step until now finally reaching the coveted top flight.

“Joining Samp is a dream come true for me. It’s the culmination of a journey that began many years ago,” he stated from the training ground in Temu. “I’m a left-back who likes to push up and always tries to put crosses in for my attacking team-mates. We are working with real intensity under Eusebio Di Francesco. The pre-season training camp is going well and we’re putting a strong squad together.”
