Group work as training resumes on Tuesday
The players were split into two groups on Tuesday when they resumed training in Bogliasco ahead of next weekend’s trip to ChievoVerona.
Former Udinese and Italy striker Antonio Di Natale was also at the training ground to observe proceedings from the sidelines.
The Blucerchiati who were little or not involved against Empoli did strength work in the gym and on the pitch, followed by technical and tactical drills and a training match against Simone Pavan’s U19s.
Meanwhile those who played most of the game on Sunday focused on recovery with physiotherapy and aerobic work.
Joachim Andersen trained separately on the pitch while Gregoire Defrel had a session in the pool.
The squad will be back in Bogliasco on Wednesday afternoon for more training.
