Giampaolo pulls no punches: “We weren’t on form, let’s get over this disappointment”

After losing at home to Frosinone, Marco Giampaolo wasn’t in the mood to gloss over his disappointment at this afternoon’s unexpected slip-up.

“We started poorly and in the second half we weren’t able to find the winning formula,” a frustrated Giampaolo said to the media after the game. “Frosinone played as we expected them to; there was no robbery.”

The team now needs to put this disappointment behind them ahead of the upcoming fixtures and the gaffer made sure to leave some motivating words for his players.

“The result is frustrating, but we have to get over it quickly. We weren’t on top form but we can’t stop here. Over the next few days we’ll have to move on from it, it’ll be a tough ask but we have to do it.

“We need to move on, roll up our sleeves and prepare for our next matches where we can try to recover the points we dropped today.”
