Tactical session ahead of Frosinone, final training and press conference on Saturday

Sampdoria continued their preparations for Sunday’s home match against Frosinone with another training session at a sunny Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini on Friday.

With technical director Walter Sabatini and sporting director Carlo Osti watching on, Marco Giampaolo led his squad through a technique and tactics session on Pitch 1. Primavera youngster Leonardo Benedetti joined in with first-team training.

Joachim Andersen is suffering from mild flu-like systems and had a rest day as a precaution. Edgar Barreto trained separately as he continues to focus on his recovery from injury, while Gianluca Caprari received post-surgery treatment.

Samp will train again on Saturday morning, followed by Giampaolo’s pre-match press conference at 13:00 CET (live coverage on Twitter, round-up to follow on YouTube).
