Double session in groups focusing on strength and tactics, afternoon training on Thursday

Sampdoria continued to prepare for Sunday’s away trip to Frosinone with a double session in Bogliasco on Wednesday.

The Blucerchiati focused on strength in the gym and technique and tactics outside in the morning session, with Primavera youngster Simone Pavan joining in. After lunch, the whole squad got stuck into a series of practice games.

Dennis Praet is suffering from flu and had a rest day. Jacopo Sala trained alone in both sessions as he increased the intensity of his recovery work, while Edgar Barreto continued to work on his own rehab programme. Emil Audero had a recovery session in the gym, while Gianluca Caprari received treatment.

The squad will train again on Thursday afternoon.
