Double session in groups for Samp, afternoon training on Wednesday

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco for the second time this week on Tuesday ahead of Saturday’s away trip to Napoli.

As part of a double session at the training ground, the squad split into groups to focus on strength in the gym in the morning session, before concentrating on technique and tactics after lunch.

Lorenzo Tonelli trained as normal with the rest of the squad, while Edgar Barreto and Jacopo Sala had individual recovery session. Gaston Ramirez spent the afternoon focusing on some targeted strength work in the gym, while Gianluca Caprari received treatment.

Doria will train again on Wednesday afternoon.
