Giampaolo hails Samp mentality after convincing win against Udinese

Marco Giampaolo declared himself satisfied with every aspect of Saturday’s 4-0 victory over Udinese.

Fabio Quagliarella netted twice from the spot – finding the net for an 11th consecutive game – while Karol Linetty and Manolo Gabbiadini were also on the score sheet as Doria moved up to fifth place awaiting results elsewhere.

“We achieved everything we set out to achieve today,” the boss told Samp TV after the game.

“Fabio equalled a long-standing record, we won by a big margin and showed a great mentality. It was an incredible performance. I’m happy with every single player.”
