Thursday training in the sun

Thursday was a national holiday (All Saints’ Day) in Italy but not for Marco Giampaolo’s troops as they reported in to Bogliasco for an afternoon training session amid clear skies and warm temperatures.

Primavera youngsters Tommaso Farabegoli, Simone Giordano and Matteo Raspa joined in with the senior side as they pushed on with preparations for Sunday’s home game against Torino.

The bulk of the squad were put through various technical and tactical drills while Gregoire Defrel and Nicola Murru did individual work on the pitch and Vasco Regini continued with his recovery programme.

The Blucerchiati will be back on Friday afternoon for another session.
