Italy U21s bounce back with a win, England U20s draw in Czech Republic
There was a win and a draw for Emil Audero and Ronaldo Vieira on Monday as the two Blucerchiati youngsters turned out for the Italy U21s and England U20s respectively.
Italy U21s put their loss to Belgium in Udine behind them with a 2-0 win over Tunisia in a friendly match held in Vicenza. The Azzurrini had the game all but sewn up on the first half, with Parigini netting the opener on 34 minutes before a Kean penalty four minutes later made it 2-0. Emil Audero started in the sticks and performed well for Luigi Di Biagio’s side, keeping a clean sheet in the process.
Having beaten Italy 2-1 last time out, England U20s continued their Eight Nations Tournament campaign with a 1-1 draw away in the Czech Republic. Nketiah gave the Three Lions the lead on 39 minutes, but the Czechs equalised in the second half through Pfeifer. Samp midfielder Ronaldo Vieira had a good game as he played the full 90 minutes.
