Mancini selects another Doria man as Tonelli gets call-up

Lorenzo Tonelli has been rewarded for his fine start to the season with a call-up by Italy boss Roberto Mancini for the Azzurri’s games against Ukraine (Genoa, 10 October, 20:45 CEST) and Poland (Chorzow, 14 October, 20:45 CEST). The call-up comes after Alessio Romagnoli was forced to pull out with injury.

It is the first time Tonelli has been called up to the national team since the pre-Euro 2016 training camp in May 2016.
