Last session of the week ahead of Spezia friendly

The Blucerchiati were back at the training ground on Friday afternoon for their last session of the week ahead of Saturday’s charity match against Spezia. The bulk of the day’s work saw the players focus on rondos and tactical drills

With the squad still heavily depleted due to international call-ups, youth players Mohamed Bahlouli, Davide Canovi, Yassin Ejjaki, Simone Giordano, Tommaso Maggioni, Giuliano Maglie, Daouda Peeters and Aris Sorensen were drafted in to make up the numbers.

Meanwhile Nicola Murru, Dennis Praet, Vasco Regini and Riccardo Saponara had a session in the pool in the morning then did personalised work in the afternoon, along with Lorenzo Tonelli.

The match against Spezia – the proceeds of which will go to families affected by the Morandi bridge collapse – kicks off at the Stadio Picco at 18:00 CEST on Saturday.
