London-bound: 23-man squad departs for Fulham and Watford friendlies

After training this morning centred on technical exercises, the Blucerchiati squad departed for their flight to the United Kingdom ahead of this week’s friendlies.

Sampdoria face two pre-season games in quick succession against Premier League opposition: first up is newly promoted Fulham on Wednesday 1 August at 20:45 CEST followed by Watford on Saturday 4 August at 16:00 CEST.

Marco Giampaolo has named a 23-man squad for the trip to the English capital, including Omar Colley who will join up with the team in London after a day off.

Goalkeepers: Audero, Belec, Rafael.

Defenders: Andersen, Bereszynski, Colley, Ferrari, Leverbe, Murru, Rolando, Tavares, Sala.

Midfielders: Barreto, Jankto, Linetty, Praet, Ramírez, Verre.

Forwards: Caprari, Defrel, Kownacki, Quagliarella, Stijepovic.
