Regini undergoes successful knee operation in Rome

This morning Vasco Regini underwent a successful operation at the Villa Stuart sport clinic. The surgery, which lasted 90 minutes and was conducted by Pier Paolo Mariani and his team, was to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Also in attendance was Sampdoria physio Alessio Vanin, who travelled with the player to Rome.

The Samp defender will remain at Villa Stuart for the routine post-operation procedures and for the start of his rehabilitation period, which will then continue in Genoa.
