Doria begin last week of training camp
After enjoying a rest day on Sunday, the Blucerchiati kicked off the third and final week of their mountain training camp with a double training session in Temu on Monday morning.
Marco Giampaolo and the coaching staff split the squad into two groups for the morning session. After some initial strength work in the gym, the defenders practised moving as a unit while the midfielders – joined by Valerio Verre – and forwards focused on building play and finishing.
In the afternoon the players carried out technical and tactical drills and did aerobic work.
Brazilian goalie Rafael Cabral came through his first full session with his new team-mates, having trained separately with goalkeeping coach Luigi Turci on Sunday.
Meanwhile Gaston Ramirez followed an individual programme in the gym after sustaining chest contusion during Saturday’s friendly against FeralpiSalo.
Another double workout is planned for the lads on Tuesday.
