Rafael one of five in for training on Sunday, day off for the others

Samp’s two new Brazilian signings – goalkeeper Rafael Cabral and left-back Junior Tavares – were joined by Polish trio Bartosz Bereszynski, Dawid Kownacki and Karol Linetty in the sweltering heat for training on Sunday.

The five Blucerchiati were put through their paces in Temu while the majority of the squad enjoyed a day off.

Normal pre-season service will be resumed on Monday with morning and afternoon sessions planned for the squad.
