Zapata returns to full training ahead of Napoli clash
Duvan Zapata came through the entire session with the rest of the team on Friday as he looks to return to full fitness in time for the home match against his former club Napoli.
The morning’s work began with a meeting to discuss some of the specific technical aspects relating to Sunday’s game, before Marco Giampaolo and his backroom team had the squad move outside for tactical drills.
Ognjen Stijepovic was the only Primavera player who joined in with the first team today.
Meanwhile Nicola Murru worked in the gym and the pool, Fabio Quagliarella had treatment and a session in the water, and Edgar Barreto trained separately due to a knee complaint.
The Blucerchiati will be back at the training ground on Saturday morning before Giamapaolo sits down with the media for his usual pre-match news conference around 13:00 CEST.
