Group work for the Blucerchiati as Strinic returns to full training

Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria squad were back at the Centro Sportivo Gloriano Mugnaini in Bogliasco on Wednesday to continue their preparations for Saturday’s match against Cagliari.

The Doria boss split the squad up into two groups, with the defenders following the midfielders and forwards in warming up in the gym before focusing on tactics outside. Ivan Strinic returned to full training.

Samp youngsters Ibourahima Balde, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli and Titas Krapikas joined in with the first team for the tactical part of the session, while Karol Linetty received treatment and physiotherapy before concentrating on his tailored rehabilitation programme.

Samp will be back at the training ground on Thursday morning.
