Viviano: “It’s not a tragedy. Level-headed analysis needed”
He barely had a save to make yet Emiliano Viviano was forced to pick the ball out of his net three times on a grim day in Bologna. It was basically a case of three shots, three goals for the Blucerchiati at the Dall’Ara, a ground which hasn’t been kind to them in the past.
“We have to give credit to Bologna,” the keeper told Samp TV. “It’s not a tragedy though. We’ll learn from what happened today and move on. This blow could do us good in the long run.”
“You need to be level-headed in our analysis both when you win and lose,” stressed Viviano. Samp immediately have the chance to respond with Tuesday night’s Coppa Italia tie against Pescara. “The Coppa Italia is important for those who haven’t featured as much but not just them. We’re all keen to go through to the next round.”
