Positional training in Bogliasco; morning session on Thursday

Sampdoria continued their preparations for the trip to face Bologna on Saturday afternoon, concentrating on positional drills this morning at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini.

The defenders were out first for some warm-up exercises, strengthening work and tactics. Then it was time for the midfielders and forwards, bolstered by Primavera prospects Ibourahima Balde, Joao Claudio Gomes Ricciulli and Andrea Tessiore.

Joachim Andersen is fit again and available for selection by Marco Giampaolo, while Dennis Praet trained separately.

The Blucerchiati are next in training tomorrow morning, but the session is closed to fans because of the ongoing renovation work at the training ground.
