Derby squad confirmed after final runout on Saturday morning

Sampdoria were back at the training ground on Saturday morning to run through their final preparations for tonight’s Genoa derby – fired up after an incredible display of support by Doria fans at their hotel last night.

The session all went to plan and afterwards Marco Giampaolo named the following 23-man squad for the Derby della Lanterna:

Goalkeepers: Puggioni, Tozzo, Viviano.

Defenders: Andersen, Bereszynski, Ferrari, Murru, Regini, Sala, Silvestre, Strinic.

Midfielders: Alvarez, Barreto, Capezzi, Linetty, Praet, Ramírez, Torreira, Verre.

Forwards: Caprari, Kownacki, Quagliarella, Zapata.
