Tactics and technique at the Mugnaini, final workout on Saturday morning

The sun was shining in Bogliasco on Friday morning as Sampdoria put the finishing touches to their preparations for Saturday’s 115th Derby della Lanterna against Genoa.

After a warm-up with and without the ball, the squad worked through a programme of technique exercises and tactical drills on the main pitch.

Marco Giampaolo and his team had a full squad to work with, while Primavera youngsters Simone Giordano, Bozo Mikulic and Roberts Veips also joined in.

On Saturday, Doria will have one final session behind closed doors.
