Group work as training resumes on Tuesday

After a rest day on Monday, Sampdoria resumed training at the Centro Sportivo Mugnaini on Tuesday with the squad split in two.

The players who featured heavily in Sunday’s win over Atalanta did recovery work while the remainder of the squad warmed up with some injury-prevention exercises then played a number of training games before finishing with an 8-a-side match.

Leonardo Capezzi joined in with the main group for the first time since his ankle injury while Primavera captain Andrea Tessiore also took part.

The team will next train on Wednesday morning.
