Zapata stuns AC Milan: “What a feeling to score at Marassi, a dream come true”

Duvan Zapata has instantly become a fans’ favourite since joining the Blucerchiati in the summer despite only making a handful of appearances. The Colombian has now hit two goals in three games after finding the net against AC Milan. “It’s a great feeling to score at Marassi,” said the striker. “I’ve been dreaming of a goal like that ever since I joined.”

Zapata paused to think when asked how many goals he can score this term before replying, “I’m gradually getting back to full fitness and I feel better every day. I hope to improve on my numbers from last season. I always give 100%, that’s what matters most to me. We put in a great performance and I’m delighted for the team.”
