Praet disappointed with Verona draw, targets goals and assists
Dennis Praet was unable to hide his disappointment after Sampdoria’s goalless draw at Verona. The Belgian youngster has high aims for both himself and the team.
Speaking to Samp TV after the match, he said: “I’m not happy about the result because we need to win games like this. We weren’t clinical enough in front of goal.
“After a year of adjustment, I’m making progress. However I know I need to improve. I want to score goals and provide assists to help the team.”
As for the upcoming clash with Milan, he added: “They’re a good team, with big names, but in front of our fans we can, and must, put in a good display.”
